Broadcast
I have been
involved in professional broadcasting since 1974, moving from radio to TV in
1979. Following a spell with BBC Scotland, I moved to STV (Scottish
Television) in 1980, and after working in Presentation moved to News, Current
Affairs and Sport in 1984. The next fourteen years were spent making a variety
of programmes ranging from live news to social documentary series, sport,
politics and features. (CV
and Profile) After
working to set up a satellite channel with
Sky and STV (Sky Scottish), I
went
freelance in 1998. Since then
I have completed a number of broadcast projects
including a six-part series of Scotland's islands filmed entirely from
the air, directed BBC4's Readers and Writers Roadshow, horse racing for
attheraces and Champions League football.
